Michael Lau

Retweet

As a part of the Nike x Michael Lau collaboration effort, Michael created a new vinyl toy dubbed 'Crazy Michael' to coincide with the release of his 'Air Crazy Force 1' that was released at his Hong Kong gallery yesterday. Now to give some of those fans who might not be as fortunate to be able to pick up one of his AF1 boxsets, he will be releasing a multitude of Crazy Michael vinyl toys in all sorts of colours.

Ron Arad, a London based designer and architect.

About his work:

‘I wanted to rethink the idea of the conventional rectangular fair stand with a solid exterior wall, and to create something that really gives the best service to the exhibits, doesn’t fight or compete with them, but is nevertheless expressive. The stand is a temporary, operational structure, but it doesn’t have to look that way.’

Here is a recent Ogilvy Action’s public awareness campaign for MTV Switch. Set in Amsterdam realistic-looking inflatable hands stick out of the water, holding up a sign with a simple question and the website address. Created by creative director - Tor Myhren from Grey NYC, the posters slice through the race issue between candidates - acknowledging that much of this campaign has predictably but stupidly been re-cast as a battle between black and white. Myhren's implies that this is all just distraction and refocuses our attention onto what really matters - the issues.
